Wool Craft

During the camp there will be at least one open crafting session where wool processing is offered and going on amidst everything else.  This will include aspects of the whole process but there will also be some processed wool available to get straight into felting for those who'd like to create straight away.

Processing the wool: washing the lanolin out, rinsing, spin drying in net bags, carding, mordanting, dyeing with natural dyes.

Examples of projects from last year include felted balls, finger puppets, little 3D animals such as mice, felted bracelets, felted beads.
