We will run our Craft Camp next Summer: 2018
Weaving Community building and Crafting into a week-long Family Camp
A community camp with family and friends where each member will have time to focus on a particular craft and material or try out a variety of crafts throughout our time. We will also play games, share stories around the camp fire, sing and make music, cook together and share good local food cooked by our wonderful chef, Eloise Minton (click here for her website). There will be an interweaving of aspects from the Art of Mentoring to enrich our culture of nature connection and community during our time out on the land, under the open skies.
Ages and stages: We welcome people of all stages of life onto the camp
We aim to offer an accessible camp experience that enables parents and children to have time to craft in a way that meets them. Depending on bookings and numbers, we aim to have staff provision for:
3-6 yr olds who will have their own woodland area to explore, play and craft with a wonderful, experienced forest school and nature connection leader or two! Click here to see photos from this group from last year.

7-12 yr olds who will have nature mentors to hold space for them to play, craft and create with stories around fires and the opportunity to develop their woodland skills. Click here to see photos from this group from last year.
10-16 yr olds who would like a more focused crafting experience with flexibility to follow the group's passions. Click here for further info.

These staffed provisions will be held for the morning and afternoon 2 hr craft sessions both to meet the children where they are at, giving them time with peers and to free parents up to have some more adult time with the crafts and receive tuition from our craft specialists. Last year these craft sessions were also open for older children to join should they choose however this caused some tension for the craft specialist to meet everyone's needs so the upgrade for this year we will have an older children's craft group with experienced nature mentors which will be separate from the adults during the 2hr craft sessions.
Under 3s will need accompanying throughout and if we have enough we will have a held parent and toddler group during craft session times. If there are not enough parent and child bookings to have it's own staff member, they will be welcome to join in on the fringe of the adult craft activities or to join the youngest children's group.
